Robin Schneider, CEO
Robin Schneider has more than 10 years’ experience advocating on cannabis issues. She is the former executive director of the National Patient Rights Association where she helped medical marijuana patients advocate for state laws that ensure safe access to medicine. Most recently, Robin served as the finance director for the Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol, the organization that led the 2018 Proposal 1 campaign to legalize adult use cannabis for Michigan adults 21 years and older.
Margeaux Bruner, Director of Outreach and Strategy
Margeaux Bruner is focused on building relationships with community stakeholders to position MCIA as a trusted adviser and partner in cannabis issues across the state. This role is accountable for building community coalitions, cultivating corporate commitment to the community, and promoting positive health care outcomes through education and improved access. Prior to joining the MCIA Bruner has been active in cannabis policy across the state. She serves as an appointed member of the Michigan Impaired Driving Safety Commission. She also chairs the Detroit Democratic Cannabis Caucus.
Ryan Basore, Business Development Director
The MICIA Business Development Director is responsible for developing a wide-range of member only programs and services to collectively deliver buying power that will save our members time and money. Prior to joining MICIA, Basore has 10 years experience in the cannabis industry with a background in real estate, acquisitions, insurance and state and local political advocacy.
